The path

Searching without finding is not the prerogative of a single individual. Putting yourself at the service of others is without doubt the most beautiful mission/action in the world. To do this, you search tirelessly for what you can really offer. Reason often prompts you to abandon your quest because it seems fruitless and vain. So you resign little by little or brutally. It's like starving to death at the foot of a coconut because you can't open it.

Some animals spend years and years learning how to crack a nut. Just like them, it can take you decades to learn how to open your heart. From that point, you no longer feel like you're searching. You know what's in your heart and what you can offer to the world.

Sometimes the nut has been crushed at an early age, so you have to gather the pieces before you can see clearly inside. These new stages often give rise to despair and frustration. This leads you to think you're inadequate in this world where knowledge and endeavor are important. Your greatest undertakings are those of opening your heart and picking up the pieces.

As your life unfolds, you'll discover that your quest is here, and that it will never cease even if you think you've abandoned it. Your heart will always come knocking at the door of your mind, so that at last they can make their way together.

Only then will the gems of your search begin to appear. Your reason will persist in wanting to cover this path quickly, so you'll have to teach it to take its time and accept living in the present moment.

You'll also have to learn to revel in the delights of your heart and to apprehend its sensitivity in order to offer it to the world. During this stage, you'll continue to look for ways to keep your heart open in all circumstances. Because that's where you'll feel most at home, and where everything will unfold naturally.
